HALC Mission Statement Hellenic American Leadership Council is hereby established to chart a new course for the Greek-American community: To ensure the continuity of a distinct and distinguished Greek-American community, to pursue and attain a level of excellence for all Hellenes and Hellenic causes, to strengthen ties between the next generation of Greek-Americans and Greece and Cyprus, and to nurture Hellenic learning and culture. Identify young, capable, distinguished and committed leaders under 40. Establish cultures of giving and volunteering in our community. Support ongoing community efforts that reflect the mission statement. Promote the emergence of Hellenic leaders under 40. Create a self-perpetuating institution. Provide a support network for the next generation of Hellenic leaders.
